If I have a question about a particular concentration, where should I go for answers?

Visit the scholarly concentration webpage and click the tile for the concentration you’re asking about. There you will find contact information.
When can I enroll in a concentration?

Enrollment timing varies by concentration. Contact the concentration director or coordinator for specific on-ramp opportunities and guidance.
Will dropping a concentration hurt my academic standing?

No. Dropping a concentration will not jeopardize your academic standing.
Who should I contact to notify about dropping out of the concentration?

Contact your concentration director or coordinator.
What is the difference between a concentration and a dual/combined degree program?

A dual or combined degree requires separate admission and completion of an additional degree program.
A concentration is integrated within the JSSOM curriculum, requires no separate enrollment, and is completed alongside your primary degree.
What do I receive once I complete my concentration requirements?

You will graduate as a scholar of that concentration, be recognized at commencement, receive a certificate signed by the JSSOM dean and the concentration director, and participate in the Cord and Concentration Celebration prior to commencement.
Can I pursue two concentrations at once?

Yes, but only if the two concentrations allow collaboration. Speak with both concentration directors to request approval and coordinate requirements.
