Congratulations! I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to The University of Texas Medical Branch’s Physician Assistant Class of 2021. We are delighted you have chosen UTMB for your physician assistant education. Our mission is to develop and graduate academically and clinically exceptional physician assistant students. As you know, we receive many applications for our 90 positions, and your selection to our program speaks very highly of our confidence in you as a future physician assistant student. This is a very exciting time for our PA program and our student body as you will be the first class of physician assistant students to enter under the UTMB School of Medicine.
The administration, faculty, and staff at UTMB are committed to educational excellence and professionalism. Your new student orientation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, through Friday, July 12. We have designed experiences to help you transition to PA school, discover our network of resources, and answer questions about the program, university, and student life. The orientation concludes with the White Coat Ceremony on Monday, July 15, at 6 pm in Levin Hall. The White Coat Ceremony is a tradition and special occasion for our students and faculty and we hope your family and friends will be able to attend this milestone occasion.
Thank you again for choosing The University of Texas Medical Branch.
