We have arranged a free parking lot and a free shuttle for parking during Orientation (details to be emailed to you). On the last day of Orientation, students will receive their UTMB Badge and be responsible for all future parking. You may purchase parking prior to Orientation using this link with your UTMB credentials.

The schedule is available on Blackboard, the JSSOM website, and it will be sent via email.

All Orientation presentations will be uploaded to Blackboard.

Yes, you will be able to ask questions both in-person and via Blackboard.

You have until July 1 to complete the Online Orientation, or a Hold will be placed on your record.

You will log in to the Online Orientation using your UTMB credentials. If you need help remembering your credentials, you will need to contact Information Services at (409) 772-5200. UTMB Badge photos will be taken on July 22, you will receive your badge July 25. Please pay close attention to your photo session time. Student Affairs will request badges and distribute them when ready. More details with scheduled times will be sent in a separate email.

Practice of Medicine (POM) is the first course in the curriculum, and it starts July 29, 2024.
