School of Medicine Commencement

The following functions relate to the Medical School Commencement Exercises on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Moody Gardens Convention Center:
8:00 AM - Student Rehearsal
9:00 AM - Faculty Assemble, North Lobby
10:00 AM - Commencement
Military Commissioning Ceremony (immediately following the Commencement Ceremony)
12:00 Noon - Dean's Reception
Parking: Ample parking is available in the parking garage which is adjacent to the Convention Center. Tram/shuttle service is also available for overflow parking in the surface lots.
Hotel Information: A block of rooms is being held at the Moody Gardens Hotel at a special room rate ($191 per night--tax not included). For reservations call: (888) 388-8484 or (409) 741-8484. The reservation deadline is May 9, 2013. All reservations received after this date will be accepted on a space available basis only at the standard room rate. Please identify yourself as being with the "UTMB School of Medicine Commencement."
